5035: Student Discipline
Students who violate the rules adopted by the ESU 4 program which the student is contracted to attend will face consequences up to and including cancellation of the contract through which the student attends the program. ESU 4 is not subject to the Nebraska Student Discipline Act, but will report all student conduct punishable under the Act to the student’s resident school district. The resident district may take action pursuant to its student discipline policies and a resident district’s refusal to take such action may be the basis for cancellation of the contract through which a student attends an ESU 4 program.
