5002: Attendance of Students
State law requires every person who has legal or actual charge or control of any child who is of mandatory attendance age to cause that child to regularly attend a public or private school unless the child has graduated from high school or has been disenrolled by the child’s parent or guardian. A Service Unit Administrator shall notify the student’s resident school district if a contracted student is truant or otherwise habitually absent.
