Tanya began her career with the Bennet-Palmyra school district and worked there for 4 years. She then went to work for Peru State College as an adjunct instructor. After that, she began working with the geriatric population in long term care, while also serving patients in acute care and outpatient therapy settings. Tanya has also worked with children who have hearing impairments, children with language delays in home based and preschool settings, and adults with various medical diagnoses in a home health care setting.
Tanya has a Bachelor of Science in Education as well as a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She is fluent in American Sign Language.
Outside of work, she loves to attend performing arts venues, such as ballets, musicals, and symphonies. She also loves any and all Husker sports events.
