Joel Halpine spent most of his youth in Grand Island, Nebraska. He went to Texas (TCU) for his undergraduate studies, and returned to Nebraska for his Master’s Degree in Audiology, which he received in 1994. Joel has worked for ESU 4 as their audiologist since then. His wife, Karla, is a french teacher for Lincoln Public Schools. They have two children.
Outside of work, one of his favorite hobbies is building furniture. However, he admits he is painfully slow at it, only periodically turning out finished products.
