Personable, Productive, and Positive are three words I am proud to describe myself with. I believe in being personable and building relationships. Being productive and "getting my work done" is an important personality characteristic that helps me stay on top of my responsibilities. Finally, I am positive which means I try to always be optimistic about people and their potential.
I am a Transition Specialist which means I help students and their families make plans for where students will live, work, and learn after high school whether that is at 18 or 21. I graduated from UNL with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics and a Master's Degree in Secondary Special Education and Transition.
I am a farm girl from Hildreth, Nebraska. I have three kids, Cosette, Clifford, and Aspen and a wonderful multi-talented husband Scott. He is a part time stay at home dad and part time electrician. We like to be outside whenever we can and camp in our 1962 Winnebago travel trailer we like to call the Wagabago. We like to play guitars, go to lots of playgrounds, hike, ride bikes, dutch oven cook, and enjoy the company of friends and family.
