Special Education Signing Para

ESU 4, representing school districts in Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, and Richardson Counties, is accepting applications for a special education signing para. This will be a full time position in Syracuse, NE. Primary duties include translating spoken words into sign language at a normal rate using the sign system appropriate for the student, as designated by the IEP team. The candidate would support a student who is verified as deaf/hard of hearing in the least restrictive environment.

This position requires a high school diploma with an EIPA score of 3.5, RID.
