5031 - Student Driving and Parking

Students who drive to ESU 4 programs are required to park their vehicles and leave them unoccupied until it is time to drive home. The speed limit on service unit property is __ miles per hour. Students may not drive or have access to their vehicles during the instructional day without the express permission of their program administrator.

Students are to park appropriately and in the assigned areas at the relevant ESU 4 program. Student parking shall not be permitted in bus loading zones. When buses or vans are loading or unloading, all vehicles must stop and wait for the loading or unloading process to be completed.

By driving a vehicle to the ESU 4 program, whether they park on or off property owned or controlled by ESU 4, students consent to having that vehicle searched by service unit officials if those officials have reasonable suspicion that such a search will reveal a violation of the rules of the relevant ESU 4 program of the code of conduct of the student's resident school district.
