3005 - Nondiscrimination
The Educational Service Unit ("ESU") shall follow all relevant civil rights laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Nebraska Equal Opportunity in Education Act, the Nebraska Fair Employment Practices Act, Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Any person who believes she or he has been discriminated against in any manner may file a grievance using the ESU's grievance procedures, in addition to pursuing any other right and/or remedy available to such person under law.
Inquiries by employees or applicants regarding compliance with any civil rights law or regulation may be directed to the ESU Administrator.
